Narrative
This was a $6M field services business with 30 employees and pricing that hadn't been touched in three years. The owner was getting beat on bids he should've won and winning bids he should've passed on. Crews were billing time that didn't match what was actually getting done.
We built a custom field-team tool to track time and job status from the truck — no more 'I think we did six hours.' Rebuilt the pricing model from the ground up, by job type, with the actual crew utilization data baked in. Set up an automated AR cadence that pulled aged accounts back to current within 60 days.
$185K of additional annualized profit from pricing and crew utilization alone. Another $95K collected from accounts that had been sitting at 90+ days. The owner stopped guessing on bids.
