The role
We're looking for a detail-oriented financial professional to serve as a fractional controller for small and medium-sized businesses. You'll guide clients through complex financial processes, manage accounting staff, and improve financial reporting — converting messy data into clear, actionable recommendations.
What you’ll do
- ▸Act as financial advisor — surface insights that strengthen stability and growth
- ▸Develop and run financial strategies: budgeting, forecasting, cash flow
- ▸Implement financial best practices and tooling to improve efficiency
- ▸Lead and develop internal accounting staff through clear policies
- ▸Turn complex financial data into clear, actionable recommendations
What we’re looking for
- ▸Extensive finance management experience as a Controller or similar senior role
- ▸Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting principles, and forecasting
- ▸Proficiency with financial software like QuickBooks or Xero
- ▸Analytical and strategic thinking
- ▸Exceptional organizational and leadership skills
- ▸Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- ▸Alignment with our mission and values
Nice to have
- ▸Prior fractional or consultancy-based financial experience
- ▸Industry-specific financial knowledge
